Origins of SaveTheParts.org
Where Passion, Preservation, and Purpose Converge
Four years ago, longtime car enthusiast and builder “Cuda Bill” began documenting his travels on YouTube and TikTok—not for fame, but for fun. His goal was simple: to connect with like-minded men and women, share their stories, and celebrate the culture surrounding classic cars and parts.
As Bill crisscrossed the country, he found himself drawn into deeper conversations with veteran builders—many in their 70s and 80s—who had spent a lifetime collecting, wrenching, and preserving rare automotive parts. These men weren’t looking to cash out; they were looking to pass the torch. Many offered to donate or sell parts at well below market value—on one condition: that the pieces go to people who would use them with respect, not flip them for profit.

It was in one of these heartfelt encounters—with a mentor reflecting on his collection, his legacy, and the joy of “giving back”—that the vision for SaveTheParts.org was born. Not as a business, but as a movement. A way to honor the old guard while helping young builders, mechanics, and dreamers access the parts and knowledge needed to keep classic car culture alive.
Since that formative conversation in May 2025, the momentum has grown. More collectors have come forward—men who spent decades amassing rare and valuable components, now eager to contribute to something greater than themselves. From a Ford expert in the Pennsylvania hills to an 86-year-old Corvette master tech, these individuals are entrusting SaveTheParts.org to share their life’s work with a new generation.
Thanks to Cuda Bill’s experience in the field and his deep-rooted connections, the MotorHeadMen Foundation has brought this vision to life. SaveTheParts.org isn’t just about restoring car parts—it’s about rebuilding dreams, teaching the next generation the importance of craftsmanship, and preserving a legacy before it’s lost.
These donors don’t want to see their hard-earned collections scrapped, forgotten, or gouged at swap meets. They want their parts to live on—in good shops, in good hands, in great builds.
That’s where SaveTheParts.org steps in—and proudly steps up.
A platform. A mission. A promise.
We’re here to make sure these parts—and the stories behind them—continue to roll forward, one build at a time.
